Lately, I have heard a lot of talk about Social Media versus Mobile Media (text /sms) Marketing versus email. There is little doubt that the future of marketing is on our "mobile device" formerly known as our phone. At the same time, it would be crazy to throw out low cost email marketing even if it's effectiveness is in decline. The truth is that as long as a reasonable portion or our marketing emails are read we need to continue with them. The experts tell us that a portion of our Social Media and email marketing should be directed to building a Mobile Media data base.
